What is this church like?

The front lawn of the church with cross reaching to the clouds There’s a sweet, sweet Spirit in this place, and I know that it’s the Spirit of the Lord. There are sweet expressions on each face and I know they feel the presence of the Lord.

We’re not another activity in your busy life. We are God’s oasis.

We have a set liturgy, and yet we use all kinds of music. Sometimes we’re reverent and still. Sometimes we’re raucous. We welcome infants and small children. Our youngest member at this writing is nine weeks, and our oldest is 94 years young.

At our church we proclaim God’s will and God’s grace, (we call this “Law and Gospel”) revealed fully in the person of Jesus Christ and if you have questions about your faith, we love you for it.

Our discussions are always lively; we are “Christians With Questions.”

Our ethics is based on seeking God’s will (“Thy will be done”) and on making our reverent best guess.
